With the square to your back, you hear the chant getting louder - it could no longer be the sound of a single voice. A quick glance behind shows you more people in the square, dead stares and mouths agape, joining in that mystic sound. Something is spreading back there, and you need to be as far away from it as possible. Thankfully you know the city well, and are able to reach the borne quickly, its tall rocks flickering like shadows made of weak light. The young woman has regained her senses with some distance from the scene, and though she is without a mask, she seems to be unaffected. She has a look of determination on her face as she leads you beyond the borne and to the base of the nearby mountain range. The winds are picking up and the sporestorm seems to have begun early, but it no longer feels like the most pressing concern.
