Your small city grew up around this huge tree generations ago. Or perhaps the tree grew up amidst the city. Every storyteller has a different embellishment of this origin story. But one thing they all have in common is the mysterious borne placed around the city's edge, matching almost perfectly the canopy of the huge tree above. This boundary, a wall of immense rocks that sometimes blinks out of existence, protects you most of the time from the winds, and from what the wind carries. If the wall is in sight, wear your mask.
