about
You cannot describe the feeling of being launched into the air. If you had your full mass, your bodies would have been instantly broken by the strength of the gust, but flickering as you are now, you are kept aloft. The gust launches you toward the tree, and, following the woman's example, you quickly learn to lean into the wind to steer, pulling up to slow yourself as you approach. You see the gleam of steel as you near the tree - the woman has withdrawn a knife with one hand, while reaching for you with another. You hit the side of the tree together, an impact that should have destroyed you, but in your state you have just enough mass to hold your position. You hang there, suspended by her knife digging seven inches into the trunk of the massive tree, and from the wound emerges a sap, glowing violently as it is exposed to the air. You reach for her vial, and uncork it with your teeth, pouring the mixture into the wound. It shimmers brightly, then closes up, forcing the knife out of the trunk and sending you both floating away from the tree and down into the city. The spores around you as you fall begin to change color, from pale white to a bright orange of warning, but as you float toward the ground, away from the woman who brought you into this strange adventure, you hear the chant again. Just a fragment of it is enough to set your stomach tense with discomfort, but as the orange spores float through the air, the sound diminishes and subsides. You reach the ground to find the rest of the city's inhabitants confused but intact, wondering what had happened to the day. Only the melody of the chant remains in your head as sole proof of this saga. How best to capture it, so it is not forgotten?
An extremely high quality debut combining some melancholic DS melodies, some nice layers of synth texture, and well-implemented percussion. Mystal Tree

I met Fogweaver through Vedurnan and, later, Magelight. This more energetic take on their music is wonderful and exciting, a compelling twist bearing their unique signature. emanuele127
